Sri Lanka’s most innovative bank, HNB PLC partnered with the world’s largest global card network, Visa to offer Infinite and Signature cardholders a comprehensive array of personalized concierge services for the very first time in Sri Lanka.
The concierge service, backed by representatives with a wealth of knowledge and resources, can be called upon to fulfil a number of services at any given time. Available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, representatives will fulfil any standard request within 24 hours.
“We believe that the term luxury has evolved over the years to encompass a more selective and pragmatic client base that we are privileged to serve. Moving forward, the Visa Concierge service will be available to complete any task required by a customer, ranging from assistance with lifestyle plans to setting travel plans in motion. The concierge service provides our clients with easy access to unique experiences and services that can easily satisfy their every need, anywhere in the world,” Deputy General Manager- Retail Banking, Sanjay Wijemanne said.
The concierge service covers a wide spectrum of services ranging from travel coordination for international air travel, ground transportation, lodging, recreational activities including reservations and arrangements, assistance with lifestyle choices and plans such as organizing events, procuring VIP passes and reservations at restaurants and tickets for performances and sports events in addition to personalized services such as administrative services for Visa’s and passports, even extending to help around the home including baby-sitting services, gift ideas and even flower delivery.

In keeping with HNB’s intensive focus on technology enabled convenience, a notable feature of the new service will be the inclusion of a fully secure, user friendly mobile app for Visa Concierge service, enabling HNB cardholders to access the service at their fingertips at any time anywhere in the world.
Designed with both form and function in mind, the new app will offer users a seamless experience – across phone calls, live chats or a responsive web interface - and include personalized content and offers tailored to the preferences of individual users.
The partnership with HNB to offer Visa concierge services builds on the already strong relationship between the two organisations which had previously joined together to offer HNB Visa Infinite and Visa Signature cardholders access to the world’s most prestigious airport lounges and an outstanding range of discounts with the launch of the Airport Companion Program by Dragon Pass, providing customers with access to over 900 of the world’s most lavish airport lounges in the world in addition to concessionary rates for lounge visits, the option of reserving a limousine service in 140 of the world’s most bustling cities and discounts of up-to 50% at over 800 dining outlets at airports globally for Visa Infinite cardholders.
