SDA (Special Deposit Account)

Open a Special Deposit Account (SDA) with HNB and be entitled to higher interest and special benefits.

Key Features of the SDA

Could be maintained in any designated Foreign Currency or in LKR
The SDA is a Fixed Deposit for 6 months and 12 months
Higher Interest Rates
Repatriation is freely permitted on maturity

Eligible Parties to open an SDA

Sri Lankan individuals resident in or outside Sri Lanka
Dual Citizens
Citizens of other States with Sri Lankan origin
Non-nationals resident in or outside Sri Lanka
Funds, corporate bodies, associations incorporated/registered outside Sri Lanka
Any other well-wishers
