Teleline will be available 24 hours a day, free of charge during the introductory period. It will let customers inquire financial information or perform transactions using an ordinary touch-tone phone by dialling 94-11 - 5462462. In addition to inquiries for account balances, statuses of cheques and currency exchange rates. Teleline provides customers the ability to transfer funds between one's own accounts, make requests for cheque books, report the loss of CASHLINE ATM cards, or pay bills of Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Lanka Telecom, Credit card. This will save customers the hassle of having to travel to a Bank in order to carry out such payments; saving both time and money.
