Professionals, busy executives and businessmen, who are key decision makers in today's highly competitive business environment, find it increasingly difficult to find time to attend to their Personal Banking needs at the counter. In addressing this timely need for a remote banking product catering to the individual clientele, HNB introduces the convenience of phone banking through Teleline.
Teleline will be available 24 hours a day, free of charge during the introductory period. It will let customers inquire financial information or perform transactions using an ordinary touch-tone phone by dialling 94-11-5369369. In addition to inquiries for account balances, statuses of cheques and currency exchange rates. Teleline provides customers the ability to transfer funds between one's own accounts, make requests for cheque books, report the loss of CASHLINE ATM cards, or pay bills of Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Lanka Telecom, Credit card. This will save customers the hassle of having to travel to a Bank in order to carry out such payments; saving both time and money.
