Security Features of HNB Mobile Banking include
  • Separate password for login and transaction.
  • Mandatory change of password on first login.
  • Password expiry period - system will force a mandatory login and transaction password change after 90 days.
  • User expiry period - User ID disabled if user does not login for a period of 80 days.

How can I apply for Mobile Banking?





All retail customers of HNB with Savings and Current Accounts are eligible to register for HNB Mobile Banking.

Customers should have a mobile phone with a subscription to a Sri Lankan mobile network operator.

If you are a new customer just walk into any HNB Customer Centre and talk to our bank officers. If you are an existing customer of HNB, download and complete the application form given below and handover to your nearest HNB Customer Centre.
