Property Finance

Hatton National Bank's Property Finance team represents the merging of 3 disciplines namely, surveying, banking and law. HNB's directive is to provide investment and development funding for commercial and residential properties in Sri Lanka.

The property finance solutions are customized to meet the objectives of the clients and meet their financial capabilities. Structured Finance

HNB services include preliminary project feasibility, development and execution of appropriate financial structures and the arrangement of underwriting and syndicating transactions within the banking market.

HNB is capable of acting as either the principal or funder in a structured financial solution, and specializes in highly structured funding solutions for real estate owners, occupiers and investors. The team includes individuals with real estate advisory, financial advisory and banking property finance backgrounds. Trade / Commodity Finance

HNB's product range for Trade & Commodity Finance activity is best described under two headings: documentary credits and documents financing. Documentary credits such as letters of credit, documentary collections, etc. are regulated under the Uniform Customs and Practices whereas guarantees/bonds and documents financing are custom-made products aimed at facilitating the underlying trade transactions.

Working in close co-operation with the trading parties involved, HNB formulates and offers the best fitting product(s) aimed at mitigating and minimizing commercial and country risks while meeting the banking needs of all parties concerned.
