Could be opened by Sri Lankans, firms or companies resident in Sri Lanka who are providing Professional Services to residents outside Sri Lanka and/or to local firms who have an established source of earnings in foreign exchange. 

How to open a FCAPS Account

1. Download an account opening form or collect a form from one of our Customer Centres.
   
   
2. Complete the form, sign and present it to a Customer Centre convenient to you along with an undertaking of the individual/firm that they are already engaged in providing professional services and are remunerated in foreign currency

Credits permitted to a FCAPS Account  

• Inward Remittances received for providing professional services including bank drafts in foreign currency.
  
  
• Payment received in foreign exchange for having provided professional services to local firms who earn their revenue in foreign exchange.

Permitted Debits

• Outward remittances on account of current transactions.  (Related topayments made for services)
  
• Local disbursements
  
  
• Payment to another FCAPS Account
